    Abstract:

Aim To investigate the effect of pcDNA3.1-SDF-1α plasmid on THP-1 cells chemotaxis. Methods pcDNA3.1-SDF-1α plasmid was transfected into ECV304 cells by lipofectamine and the positive clones were screened by G418. The expression of SDF-1α gene in the transfected ECV304 cells were detected by RT- PCR. Then explored the effect of SDF-1α on THP-1 cells chemotaxis with transwell permeable supports. Results G418-resistant ECV304 cell clones were obtained. pcDNA3.1-SDF-1α plasmid effect on THP-1 cells migration. Conclusion SDF-1α recombinant protein obviously induce migration of THP-1 cells.
