    Abstract:

Aim To explore the cerebral hemodynamic changes of intracranial artery stenosis in Trancranial Doppler ultrasound(TCD).To compare the sensitivity and specificity of TCD with magnetic resonance angiography(MRA)(or digital subtraction angiography,DSA).Methods 85 cases with cerebral ischemic stroke(CIS)were examined respectively by using TCD and MRA(or DSA).Results Compared with the results of MRA(or DSA),the sensitivity and the specificity of TCD were respectively 88.2% and 98.6% in the diagnosis of intracranial stenosis arteries.Compared with the results of DSA,the sensitivity and the specificity of TCD were respectively 90% and 97.9% in 15 cases with CIS.Conclusion TCD can objectively reflect the cerebral hemodynamic changes in cerebral vessels and can be used to diagnose the stenotic diseases of carotid and intracranial arteries.
