    Abstract:

The patients after coronary stent implantation requires regular dual antiplatelet therapy with aspirin and clopidogrel. When these patients are complicated with indications for anticoagulation therapy, such as atrial fibrillation, left ventricular thrombosis and so on, the triple antithrombotic therapy combined with aspirin, clopidogrel and warfarin is usually employed. However, because of significant bleeding risk of this treatment, clinicians are puzzled with its safety, effectiveness and necessity, and researchers currently debate this as a hot spot.In this paper, we have reviewed the recent literatures about the triple antithrombotic therapy, and discussed the application of this treatment in patients with coronary heart disease.
