    Abstract:

Endothelial microparticles (EMP) are particles with a diameter ranged from 0.1 to 1 μm released by the apoptosis or death of activated of endothelial cells. The current studies have proved that EMP is a key marker of endothelial dysfunction.Early improvement of the function integrity of the endothelial cells is a key approach for the prevention and treatment of endothelial dysfunction. This study reviewed the related literatures on EMP as a treatment target.
