    Abstract:

Aim To explore the changes of plasma von willebrand factor (vWF) and von willebrand factor-cleaving protease (ADAMTS13) antigen levels in acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and the relationship between these changes and prognosis of ACI. Methods This was a case-control study, patients who received treatment were included. 64 patients with ACI were enrolled as the cases, 24 healthy persons were enrolled as the controls. The expression of plasma vWF and ADAMTS13 levels in patients and controls were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). All patients were followed up to evaluate mRS score of 90-day. The correlation was analysed by Pearson correlation analysis.
