    Abstract:

Aim To detect the plasma levels of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) in patients with cerebral infarction (CI) To analyze the relations between ADMA and CI, other traditional risk factors of CI To explore the role of ADMA in the pathogenesis of CI. Methods 100 patients with CI were collected (CI group), and 80 healthy examination individuals were as the control group. Plasma level of ADMA was determined by high performance liquid chromatography in the two groups. Fasting blood glucose, lipids and blood pressure in a calm state were measured at the same time.
