Carotid stenosis is closely related to occurrence of ischemic stroke. It is very important to locate and grade carotid stenosis rapidly and exactly for treatment plan and prognosis. Many studies have demonstrated that the carotid stenosis can be assessed accurately by color Doppler ultrasonography, which is the preferred noninvasive means for clinic.
