    Abstract:

T-cadherin (T-cad) is a newly discovered adiponectin receptor, which can bind to adiponectin hexamer and high molecular weight polymer. T-cad is widely expressed in many tissues in vivo, especially in the cardiovascular system. T-cad is closely related to coronary heart disease, and has the effects of inhibiting cell apoptosis, preventing atherosclerosis, limiting vascular intimal hyperplasia, inducing vascular endothelial cell proliferation, promoting the secretion of growth factors, and promoting muscle regeneration. Therefore, exploring the mechanism of T-cad in coronary heart disease may provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease.
